Martha Jurado Salinas
Doctor in Linguistics from the Colegio de México. Since 1982 she has given courses on Spanish for foreigners and Spanish teacher training. She has been a guest teacher at various higher institutions, participated in academic commissions, published reviews and articles in national magazines and taken part in national and international congresses. She is the co-author of Spanish teaching manuals, and grammar materials for online courses. Since 2005 she has been the representative of Mexico and UNAM with respect to the International System of Spanish as a Foreign Language (SICELE). She is currently Head of the Spanish Department at the UNAM Teaching Center for Foreigners.

Ma. Del Consuelo Santamaría Aguirre
Holds a Master’s in Mexico-US Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Language and Literature, both from UNAM. She has dedicated herself to teaching Spanish for foreigners for over twenty years. She teaches Spanish for foreigners at the FES Acatlán Language Teaching Center (UNAM). Since 2003 she has been a Japanese teacher at FES Acatlán. She is currently Head of the Spanish Department for Foreign and Non-Indo-European Languages of the FES Acatlán Language Teaching Center.

Eva Campos Gómez
A graduate in Hispanic Language and Literature from the Philosophy and Letters Faculty of UNAM and a Master’s in Applied Linguistics from CELE-UNAM. She has been giving Spanish classes for foreigners for over twenty years, as well as courses in the Spanish teacher training program and Specialization in teaching Spanish as a foreign language (online). She is currently collaborating in the design of evaluation instruments at the CEPE.

Aída Espinosa Vázquez
A graduate in Hispanic Language and Literature with a Master’s in Applied Linguistics from UNAM. She teaches Spanish for foreigners, Phonetics applied to teaching Spanish at the UNAM Teaching Center for Foreigners (CEPE), and the Phonetics and Phonology of Spanish in Graduating in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (LICEL) at the Acatlán Faculty of Higher Studies (FES).

Ma. del Carmen Koleff Osorio
A graduate in Hispanic Letters with a Master's in Applied Linguistics, UNAM. She is a full-time teacher at the Teaching Center for Foreigners (CEPE) at UNAM. She has collaborated on various texts on teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

Patricia Irene Martínez Ávila
A graduate in Hispanic Language and Literature with a Master’s in Hispanic Linguistics from the Philosophy and Letters Faculty at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. She has taught at the Teaching Center for Foreigners (CEPE) since 1989, where she gives courses on Spanish for foreigners and Spanish teacher training.

María de la Luz Munguía Castillo
Holds a Master’s in Applied Linguistics and a Bachelor’s in Educational Psychology, both from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. For six years she was Coordinator of the Spanish Department of the Escuela Permanente de Extensión in San Antonio (EPESA-UNAM). She currently teaches Spanish as a second language and as a foreign language, in addition to the Diplomas and Specialization offered at the Teaching Center for Foreigners (CEPE). She is studying for a second Master’s, remotely, with the University of Texas in San Antonio (UTSA).

Wendolyn Islas
A graduate in Hispanic Language and Literature, has been giving Spanish for foreigners classes for ten years, and is currently working at FES Acatlán (UNAM). She has also participated in the development of software for Spanish as a first and second language. She has also collaborated on the design of Spanish for foreigners programs in private institutions including the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana. She has also participated in the creation and development of conversation courses and the blog for the Spanish for Foreigners Department at FES Acatlán.
